Amazing ! For a beer, lunch, a sandwich or some coffee, this is the perfect place to take a break. They also have vegetarian and organic delicious meals. It's very comfy and hot on winter. We live in Tokyo and travelled in Hokkaido. The owners are the most lovely people we met during our trip, extremely sweet and kind. We strongly recommend you the Natural cafe if you stay in Sounkyo.

Really enjoyed our visit to Natural Cafe. After a trip to the local onsen we were very hungry. The friendly team welcomed us in and made up some vegetable curries which were extremely tasty. The cafe also had a very relaxed vibe, which added to our experience. Only slight disappointment was not being able to try any of their deserts as they had sold out!

A vegetable restaurant that is very close to the Sounkyo Tourist Center. The dessert is a pound cake without egg milk. It is delicious~

Came here because of the high reviews (in comparison to the area) and was not disappointed. Cozy atmosphere, excellent homestyle vegetable curry perfect for a cold day and the apple cake of the day was light and moist. Very comfortable sofas you could take a nap in after a long walk in the cold (sit by the wood stove for added coziness). Would recommend.
